No, really.
I decided to do a bit of blogkeeping today. I updated my profile a smidge and added a larger than necessary blogroll. Since Blogger was acting like a ka-ka- boogahead about publishing and doing exactly the wrong technical thing seems to be my forte I also switched to the new beta Blogger.
Worked like a charm. Now I can get back to tiny tweaks without worrying that they won’t propagate...
Oh, for the record, I started to use Performancing to do my blog edits, but the standard Blogger editing window works better for me. I’m lost without my spell checking. If I don’t have spell checking when I write my dyslexia gets all OCD in my face and I start over thinking and things twist up in really special linguistic knots that make all this look like haiku. The blog links back to them because I like the way they do statistics, but I'll probably write these the old fashioned way ‘till their Firefox extension works with both Firefox’s spell check and Spell Catcher.
Oh, and I’m too impatient to be a good beta tester for web browsers. I really like Flock in theory, but it was a) too slow and b) crashilicious for my web browsing needs.

“What’re you doing?”
“I’m writing on the computer.”
“What are you writing about?”
“Um, I’m writing about what I’m writing with.”
“How do you know?”
“How do I know what?”
“What you were writing?”
Fortunately for my dwindling sanity he got distracted and went to find the drum-synth to play with at that point. I wonder if Roland realize the market they could have in parents. Think about it. Drums for kids that you need headphones to hear...
