Intertendencies

This blog has been left fallow for quite a while. I never really used it consistently, and even that managed to deteriorate in time.

These days I seem to be more in the conversation mode of Twitter and Facebook.

I recently had an old friend comment that I seem to spend a lot of time on Facebook. That's not entirely true. Most of what I put there is from somewhere else. Postings are generally composed with Twitter in mind and then shared with Facebook. Most of the links I put up there are automatically added when I like something enough to click the share button in Google Reader. If I'm particularly enjoying a song that I'm listening to I'll click a button that tells this to LastFM. These get automatically shared as well. Friends' Facebook comments go onto my TweetDeck. I really only log into Facebook in response to these or to reply to an email. Of course then I'll muck about with whatever shiny things catch my eye. For some annoying reason, as far as I can tell, Facebook has stopped telling people when I post new pictures to Flickr. Of course I need to get back to taking pictures and flinging 'em at Flickr again too...
